For breakfast or lunch, this is the best place in the whole area. Everything is homemade and we haven't found anything on the menu that we don't love. This is also a great place for cookies, pies, and cakes (and, yes, they make wonderful wedding cakes and will cater small luncheons, etc!)

Locals' favorite. Great, upscale food, nice wine, and a tremendous atmosphere. Romantic.

This place has a terrific, ecclectic menu and EVERYTHING is fantastic!
KEYSTONE

Perfect place for a marriage proposal. Take the gondola to the top of Keystone mountain at dusk to a 5-star restaurant at the summit. Plan on spending over $200 for two people, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Reservations required. DRESS WARM!
Der Fondue Chessel - (970) 496-4386
This restaurant is also at the top of Keystone mountain. The gondola ride is great. The Chessel is a fondue restaurant. Nothing fancy, but the food is great and it's an EVENT....not just a meal. Plan on 3-4 hours for the entire evening. Reservations required. DRESS WARM!

Downstairs at Erics
Located right on Main Street in a basement where you may not venture without a recommendation, Erics is a terrific place to take the kids without breaking your budget. Take plenty of quarters ~ the restaurant has an arcade that is great fun while you wait for your order. Order the pizza ~ one slice may fill you up and you may never order Dominos again!
